September 22, 2025 – Houston, TX – LJA Engineering, Inc., a national multi-discipline engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services firm, announces the merger with C E Group, Inc. (CEG), a respected land development and civil engineering practice headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Nearly 40 CEG employees will join and operate under the LJA brand. Principals Mark Ashness, Joe Faulkner, and Mitch Craig will continue leading the team through integration. September 16, 2025 – Irvine, CA – Salas O’Brien, a national engineering, architecture, and facility planning firm headquartered in Irvine, California, welcomes rCon Engineers, a Woodbridge, Ontario–based industrial and heavy-industry engineering firm. The merger strengthens Salas O’Brien’s presence in the heavy industry sector—including cement, lime, bulk materials, and industrial plants—by adding rCon’s expertise in civil/structural design, feasibility studies, general arrangement layouts, inspections, and remedial engineering for damaged structures.
September 15, 2025 – Miami, FL – Ardurra Group, Inc., a national engineering and design firm, acquires Perteet Inc., a Washington-based infrastructure consulting firm known for its award-winning transportation expertise and long-standing public agency relationships. September 15, 2025 – Marietta, GA – Pape-Dawson, a civil engineering and surveying firm, acquires Gaskins + LeCraw, a Georgia-based civil engineering and surveying firm with 176 employees across five offices in Georgia and one in Alabama. Gaskins + LeCraw provides civil engineering, surveying, permitting, landscape architecture, and planning services for municipal, educational, residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
