Tim Griffin
Principal-in-Charge | RMF Engineering
Tim Griffin currently serves as Principal-in-Charge at RMF Engineering, an engineering consulting firm with international projects. Tim is responsible for offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, GA, and has also served on RMF’s Board of Directors for 14 years. In his instructing with PSMJ, Tim focuses on working with principals to be better leaders and business managers and helping others set up leadership training within their organizations.
Tim’s philosophy, which has developed over more than 30 years, is that everything rises and falls with leadership and that leadership is both accountable and responsible for a firm’s highs and lows. Tim has led RMF’s leadership development university for six years, where he has trained mid-level leaders to understand the business side of leadership. He is also experienced at helping firms develop their own in-house leadership universities, and he gives keynote presentations on millennials nationally and internationally.
Mike D’Alessandro, P.E., PMP

Mike is a Senior Principal with 1,500-person consulting and engineering firm Geosyntec. In this role, Mike leads the firm’s strategic planning and growth investments. He works across the enterprise and closely with the individual business unit leaders to set budget targets, define the right financial key performance indicators, and to take corrective action where needed to ensure that the firm meets its objectives for long-term sustainable success. Mike understands what drives growth and profitability for an A/E/C firm because he has spent his entire career in the industry. He’s worked as a Staff Engineer, Project Manager, Branch Office Manager, and Principal. Additionally, he has trained thousands of A/E/C professionals through PSMJ’s A/E/C Project Management Bootcamp and A/E/C Principals Bootcamp. His diverse experience in areas from project management to fee-setting and contract negotiation means he can relate to the financial challenges that you bring to this program.
