With a basic, vital goal of filling a crucial gap in key A/E benchmark data, PSMJ Resources launches its 38th signature participation season.

PSMJ Resources, Inc. announces the official launch of Survey Participation 2018—when members of the A/E community come together to play a critical role in sharing comprehensive, compelling benchmark data specific to the industry.

In addition to its two compensation surveys, PSMJ opens participation in its A/E Financial Performance Benchmark Survey, the survey that determines which firms are selected for PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence, an elite group of the industry’s most successful firms.

Survey Participation 2018 opens for participation the following three benchmark surveys:

  • A/E Management Compensation Survey, 36th Edition (Due February 2018)

  • A/E Staff Compensation Survey, 5th Edition (Due February 2018)

  • A/E Financial Performance Survey, 38th Edition (Due April 2018)

“We developed our Benchmark Surveys in response to the specific needs of A/E industry firms,” says PSMJ’s Senior Principal Dave Burstein, P.E. Together, all three surveys provide key financial, and compensation, and HR benchmark data for professional and technical staff. Participation in PSMJ surveys is an “exclusive opportunity to be a part of critical research for the A/E industry in 2018,” he says.

Each survey offers participants A/E benchmarking tools and reports—putting key benchmarking data at their fingertips. Such vital information then allows those in leadership roles to identify gaps in processes and goal setting. “I'm a big fan of PSMJ's surveys—and the information derived from them lets us know if we are on track or not,” says Robert E. Coons, Director of Finance, Randall-Paulson Architects, Incorporated.

“This is not simply competitive research,” explains Burstein. “This is a way to align a firm’s management objectives with known, reachable goals.”
