PSMJ Resources, Inc. announces the official opening of Survey Participation 2017—when members of the AE community come together to play a critical role in sharing comprehensive, compelling benchmark data specific to the industry.

In addition to its three HR and compensation surveys, PSMJ launches participation in its AE Financial Performance Benchmark Survey, the survey that determines which firms are selected for PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence, an elite group of the industry’s most successful firms.

Survey Participation 2017 opens for participation the following four benchmark surveys:

  • AE Bonus & Benefits Survey, 9th Edition (Due January 2017)

  • AE Management Compensation Survey, 35th Edition (Due February 2017)

  • AE Staff Compensation Survey, 4th Edition (Due February 2017)

  • AE Financial Performance Survey, 37th Edition (Due April 2017)

“We developed our Benchmark Surveys in response to the specific needs of AE industry firms,” says PSMJ’s Senior Principal Dave Burstein, P.E. Together, all four surveys provide key financial, compensation, and HR benchmark data for professional and technical staff. Participation in PSMJ surveys is an “exclusive opportunity to be a part of critical research for the AE industry in 2017,” he says.

Each survey offers participants AE benchmarking tools and reports—putting key benchmarking data at their fingertips. Such vital information then allows those in leadership roles to identify gaps in processes and goal setting. “I'm a big fan of PSMJ's surveys—and the information derived from them lets us know if we are on track or not,” says Robert E. Coons, Director of Finance, Randall-Paulson Architects, Incorporated.

“This is not simply competitive research,” explains Burstein. “This is a way to align a firm’s management objectives with known, reachable goals.”
