September 18, 2023 – Horrocks (Pleasant Grove, UT) announced a strategic partnership with Trilon Group (Denver, CO), a family of infrastructure consulting businesses across the United States. Through this partnership, Trilon will support Horrocks by investing in their trusted brand of leadership and credibility. “As we looked for a strategic partner, alignment on a people-first culture was critical,” said Bryan Foote, President of Horrocks. “I believe we found that alignment with Trilon and its family of outstanding firms.”
October 4, 2023 – SK Capital (New York, NY) acquired Milestone Environmental Services (Houston, TX). SK Capital has taken a controlling stake in Milestone in partnership with President and CEO Gabriel Rio, who will continue to serve in that role and retain significant ownership in the Company. Jack Norris, a Managing Director of SK Capital, stated, “We are highly impressed with the market-leading, sustainability-driven business that Gabriel and the Milestone management team have built. October 9, 2023 – DeSimone Consulting Engineering (New York, NY) acquired construction consultancy firm, Decipher (Cheshire, England). Decipher now joins DeSimone’s worldwide network of offices, amplifying DeSimone’s extensive Construction Consulting Services arm in the United Kingdom. Stephen DeSimone, Chairman and CEO of DeSimone Consulting Engineering, shared, “DeSimone has a proud Consulting Services legacy across the globe that has delivered superlative services to our clients for years. We welcome Paul, Bill, and the Decipher team as we continue to undertake transformative projects in new and exciting locations.” The acquisition of Decipher follows the recent addition of Hebden Bridge-based structural engineering firm DP Squared to DeSimone’s international team. The move reaffirms DeSimone’s commitment to growing its presence in the UK and its commitment to excellence and superior service within the construction and engineering industry.
October 10, 2023 – Ardurra Group (Miami, FL) acquired Inwood Consulting Engineers, Inc. (Orlando, FL). October 16, 2023 – SSOE Group (Toledo, OH) acquired Integrated Engineering Services (Santa Clara, CA). October 16, 2023 –Stengel Hill Architecture (SHA) (Louisville, KY), a full-service architecture and interior design firm specializing in complex healthcare facilities, received a strategic investment from Godspeed Capital (Washington, DC) a lower middle-market Defense & Government services, solutions, and technology-focused private equity firm. Through this investment, Godspeed Capital will partner with SHA leadership to establish a leading architectural, engineering, and consulting services platform with a core focus on serving the U.S. healthcare facilities market through organic expansion and strategic add-on acquisitions.
