September 12, 2024 – Verdantas, a leading consulting firm providing technical and digitally enabled solutions for sustainable outcomes across the environment, water, and energy transition markets backed by Sterling Investment Partners, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Aegis Environmental (Aegis). Based in Richmond, Virginia, Aegis is renowned for its expertise in environmental health & safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability consulting.

September 09, 2024 – Terracon, an employee-owned firm with a long history of providing excellence in engineering consulting services, is pleased to announce it has acquired Flat Earth Archeology (Flat Earth) of Cabot, Arkansas, an established firm providing archaeology and cultural resources management and compliance services to clients in Arkansas and the surrounding region.

September 3, 2024 – Apex Companies, LLC (Apex) announced the acquisition of Johnson Engineering, Inc., (Johnson Engineering), a Florida-based multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm. Johnson Engineering is the latest team to join Apex, a national leader in water, environmental, compliance & assurance, health & safety, transportation, survey, and civil engineering. Together, Johnson Engineering, Apex, and Water Science Associates (which joined Apex in 2023), offer a diverse portfolio of engineering and consulting services throughout Florida and service state, county, city, and private sector clients.

September 3, 2024 – BKF Engineers (BKF), a West Coast based civil engineering and land surveying firm, announced today that they have partnered with Long Point Capital (LPC), a New York-based growth-oriented private equity firm that focuses on the A/E/C industry. This partnership will leverage LPC’s resources and expertise, including capital, strategic guidance, sector knowledge, and a broad network of relationships. BKF will continue operations under its current management team and will expand its successful business platform, enhance its service offerings and expertise to clients, and support its expansion into new geographic markets with this new partnership.
