PSMJ Resources, Inc. is proud to announce that Susan Israel, AIA, LEED AP has joined its growing team of strategic planning experts. Susan’s focus is on helping A/E/C firm leaders position and plan for long-term sustainable growth.
Before joining PSMJ, Susan founded and led two architecture practices that focused on delivering high-end design services. She began her career with Moshe Safdie and later worked with Graham Gund Architects and the firm Finegold Alexander.

Susan brings deep expertise in architecture, design, project management and administration, strategic planning, sustainability, leadership training, and organizational change. In addition to her architecture practice, Susan founded Climate Creatives to help businesses make organizational change for climate adaptation, including sustainability and resiliency planning, and is certified as a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Provider in Massachusetts. She has developed leadership, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration programs, and is a certified leadership trainer with Connective Leadership Institute. Susan also consults on internal team engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
Susan is a licensed Architect, LEED AP, holds an A.B. from Harvard College, Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
