July 14, 2023 - Verdantas (Dublin, Ohio) acquired Clemson Engineering Hydraulics (Anderson, North Carolina). “We are excited to announce the acquisition of Clemson Engineering Hydraulics, which will further strengthen our position in physical hydraulic modeling and water resources engineering and will be a valuable addition to our team,” said CEO of Verdantas, Gerry Salontai.

July 13, 2023 - JCJ Architecture (Hartford, Connecticut) acquired Group One Partners (Boston, Massachusetts). “This acquisition emerged from a successful partnership between JCJ and G1 over several years where these shared values became evident and fully explored. We look forward to working with G1 Principals–now JCJ Principals–Harry Wheeler and Mary Faria and are excited about what we will be able to achieve together in this next chapter.” stated Peter Stevens, President of JCJ Architecture.

July 10, 2023 - MSA Pro Services (Baraboo, Wisconsin) acquired Fredrickson Engineering (Mequon, Wisconsin). “We are excited to bring the past 70 years of Fredrickson Engineering history, experience and knowledge base to MSA,” said Jason Testin. “Having worked so closely with the MSA MEP team over the years on hundreds of projects, we believe we complement them well. July 6, 2023 - DJ&A (Missoula, Montana) merged with Woodland Solutions (Woodland Park, Colorado). “This exciting collaboration brings together DJ&A’s five decades of engineering, planning, survey, and environmental expertise with WSG’s leading geospatial capabilities to create a powerful partnership in the asset management and geospatial space,” said Chairman and CEO, Chris Anderson.

July 6, 2023 - AKS Company (Tualatin, Oregon) acquired Tenneson Engineering Corporation (The Dalles, Oregon). “This will prove to be an excellent partnership and opportunity for AKS, TEC, and our clients for years to come,” stated AKS Managing Member, Blair Carlson. “We provide very similar services, have the same common values, pride ourselves on quality work, and want to continue serving our employees, clients, and communities.”

July 1, 2023 - Sunrise Engineering (Fillmore, Utah) acquired RMES (Pocatello, Idaho). “The acquisition of RMES allows us to expand our presence in the vibrant Idaho market, bringing our comprehensive suite of engineering, surveying, and consulting services to a broader client base. Idaho is a region known for its diverse engineering challenges, and we are eager to dive in and contribute our expertise to help shape the future of the communities we serve.” stated in Sunrise’s press release addressing the acquisition.

July 1, 2023 - HEES & Associates (Sarasota, Florida) merged with Bennett & Pless (Atlanta, Georgia). “Culturally, Bennett & Pless is a match.
