December 18, 2024 – Hollywood, FL – NV5, a provider of technology, certification, and consulting solutions, announced that it has entered an agreement to acquire Global Fire Protection Group (Global FPG), a provider of fire safety engineering, inspection, and consulting services. Founded in 2014, Global FPG is licensed to deliver fire services in all 50 U.S. states and eight Canadian provinces. It has completed projects in 39 countries. The acquisition was made with a combination of cash and stock and will be immediately accretive to NV5’s earnings.

December 17, 2024 – Toronto, Ontario - Aecon Group Inc. (TSX: ARE) (“Aecon”) announced the closing of the previously disclosed acquisition of United Engineers & Constructors (“United”). Aecon is excited to welcome the United team and looks forward to harnessing their enhanced nuclear and conventional power generation capabilities and client relationships to drive continued growth in the U.S. and priority markets.

December 9, 2024 – Atlanta, GA – Industrial Inspection & Analysis® (IIA), a growth-driven leader for inspections and certifications in over twenty industries, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Canada-based Kova Engineering Ltd. The addition of Kova, which has 15 offices across Canada, makes IIA the largest third-party lift inspection company in North America.

December 9, 2024 – Athens, AL – Morell Engineering has acquired Civil Group LLC, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The civil engineering firms will operate under their respective identities, but each will add services through the acquisition.
