COLORADO COALITION PLANS METALCON WELCOME Visitors to the 24th METALCON, slated for October 1-3 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, will get a royal welcome from local companies involved in the show. Denver-based New Tech Machinery Corp and Colorado Springs-based S-5! have formed the Colorado Coalition as a way of encouraging visitors to learn about Colorado before they arrive and for Coloradans to experience METALCON. LoDo - HISTORIC AREA IN DOWNTOWN DENVER Over the past two decades, LoDo (lower downtown) has been restored and renovated into one of the liveliest areas in Denver. With one of the largest concentrations of Victorian and turn-of-the-century architecture in the country, LoDo is home to 90 brewpubs, sports bars, restaurants and coffeehouses as well as the site of Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies.
